Cease and Desist

Dear Fantastic Blog Writers,

I am writing to ask you to please stop writing such compelling blog posts.  That's right.  I'm talking to you, you, you and you.  Sure you make me laugh and feel like I'm not alone, but can you please just give it a rest already.  I have things I need to get done.  I have dishes to wash, meals to cook, kids to pick up from school, a husband who need his dry cleaning.  I don't have time to sit at my computer for hours and be inspired by you.

I have TV shows I need to catch up on and have you seen my closets?  Now that I have discovered all of you, how am I ever going to get the laundry folded or go for a run?  My kids need snacks and I seriously need to finish my book club book by next week.  Not to mention the fact that my three readers (hi sister, husband and BFF!) are anxiously awaiting some fabulous writing from ME.

So can you please stop for at least a couple of days so I can return some phone calls, answer some e-mails and do some writing of my own?    I would really appreciate it.

Sincerely,

Mama Ginger Tree

If that is a picture of your laundry, you are in good shape sistah!!!!!!
But you are right about the internet. How can you keep in tune with the blogosphere and your family at the same time? It's not easy.

I've been staying up late to catch up on work these days, but admittedly - it's also because I'm reading your blogs, and the links to other blogs you like - I'm addicted!!! :-)

I can't find my blog said...

Oh boy, do I feel your pain! Even know, it is an hour past my bed time, yet here I sit reading...

P.S. I came over from All Mediocre!

Me too! I hear you. Maybe we should declare a 'no posting month' so we can all catch up on each other's stories. That would be fun.
