Sunday's Simple Pleasures II

I call this week's simple pleasure pajama day.  We woke up Saturday morning to pouring rain.  Soccer was cancelled and we had no other plans.  We stayed in our pajamas until noon, built a fire and played High School Musical sing-along, tennis and boxing on the Wii.  Mr. Mint lost a rousing game of Old Maid.   Then we had cereal and hot cocoa for lunch before heading off to the movies.

Simple as that.

sounds wonderful! I need a day like that. What am I doing with my extra hour, raking leaves, probably no less than 40 bags of leaves. WoooHOoo!

A roaring fire and toasty toes!
The only reason I miss the cold.

Sounds like a magnificent day.

We played in puddles this morning and then came in to a roaring fire, board games, and roasted pumpkin seeds for a snack!

I LOVE FALL!!!

That sounds great - I can't WAIT until we can all go to the movies. We're not quite ready yet - but maybe in a year or two.

I can't wait until the twins are older and days like these are a little more possible. Pure joy.
